Free Breast Cancer Screening & Treatment for the Economically Disadvantaged

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Indian women, with thousands losing their lives due to late diagnosis and the inability to afford treatment. Rural and economically disadvantaged women, in particular, face a deadly combination of lack of awareness, poor access to screening, and unaffordable treatment.

ATG HealthCare Foundation, in collaboration with Dr. Raghu Ram Pillarisetti, aims to reverse this pattern by bringing free cancer screening and treatment to remote and underserved areas of Hyderabad and surrounding villages. This project is scheduled to commence after 26th October 2025, coinciding with the second anniversary of ATG HealthCare Foundation.

Phase 1: Awareness & Screening Camps

We will organize free cancer screening camps across multiple rural and semi-urban areas in Telangana. These camps will include:

Educational sessions on breast self-examination
Distribution of awareness materials
On-site clinical breast examinations
Mammography tests for high-risk patients
Doctor counselling sessions

Phase 2: Diagnosis & Free Treatment

For patients diagnosed with positive mammography or clinical suspicion of breast cancer, we will:

Conduct further investigations under expert guidance

Provide free treatment under the supervision of Dr. Raghu Ram Pillarisetti, a renowned breast cancer surgeon and public health advocate

Target Beneficiaries

50 underprivileged women from remote villages around Hyderabad will receive:

Free mammography screening
Free doctor consultation and counselling
Free breast cancer treatment (if diagnosed)
