Help Ganesh(25) Fight Stage 5 Kidney Failure and Get a Life-Saving Transplant

My name is T. Rajashekar, and I am raising funds for my son, Ganesh Turumulla (25).

For more than 11 years, Ganesh has been living with kidney disease. Over the years, we have done everything possible to manage his condition through regular treatment, medicines, and medical care. However, his health gradually worsened, and over the past 8 months, his kidneys have reached a critical stage.

Ganesh is now suffering from Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and is dependent on dialysis twice every week to survive. Every month, we spend around ₹28,000–₹30,000 on dialysis and another ₹6,000 on medicines and related medical expenses. These ongoing costs have become increasingly difficult for our family to sustain.

Ganesh is our only child. He completed his B.Sc. in Genetics and had hoped to pursue higher studies and build a career. Unfortunately, his illness and frequent hospital visits have made it difficult for him to work or lead a normal life. Most of his time is now spent undergoing treatment and recovering from its physical toll.

According to his doctors, a kidney transplant is the only long-term solution for his condition. We have already started the process of exploring transplant options and have applied through available programs, including the Jeevandan organ donation initiative. However, the process takes time, and Ganesh must continue dialysis and treatment while we wait.

I run a small business, and over the years we have spent a significant amount on Ganesh's medical care. Our family members have also supported us in continuing his treatment, but the expenses involved are now beyond what we can manage on our own.

The doctors have estimated the cost of the kidney transplant to be between ₹12 lakh and ₹14 lakh. Along with the ongoing expenses for dialysis, medicines, investigations, transplant-related procedures, and post-transplant care, we are seeking to raise ₹20 lakh to help Ganesh through this journey.

As parents, our only wish is to see our son recover and have the opportunity to live a healthy and independent life. We are doing everything we can to support him, but we need help to make this treatment possible.
