Help My Husband, Kakarala Siva Ramesh, Get Urgent Heart Surgery in Time

My name is Rama Gayatri, and I am raising funds for my husband, who urgently needs heart surgery.

My husband is 41 years old and has been dealing with heart problems for the past few years. In February 2024, he underwent a procedure to place two stents in his heart after doctors found blockages in two coronary arteries. Recently, his health took a turn for the worse.

He was admitted to Pulse Heart Super Speciality Hospital, Hyderabad, with breathing difficulties, palpitations, and swelling in his feet. After conducting several tests, the doctors diagnosed him with constrictive pericarditis, a condition in which the covering around the heart becomes thick and restricts its normal functioning. They have advised an open heart surgery to treat this condition.

My husband is currently in the ICU, and the doctors have told us that the operation needs to be performed within the next 2–3 days. With so little time to arrange the funds, I am worried about how we will manage the cost of his surgery.

My husband works in a small sales job, and I am a homemaker. We live in Yellareddyguda, Hyderabad, and have a child with special needs. We manage our household with our limited income, and arranging such a large amount for his surgery in a few days is beyond what we can afford on our own.

The hospital has estimated the treatment cost at ₹4,00,000. Our health insurance covers only up to ₹1,00,000, leaving us to arrange the remaining ₹3,00,000 ourselves.
