Help Save 10-Month-Old Baby Boy Battling Rare Kawasaki Disease

My name is Gadi Ayyappa, and I am from Gauripatnam, Andhra Pradesh. I am raising funds for my 10-month-old nephew, the baby boy of Keerthana, who is currently undergoing treatment at Siddhartha Children’s Hospital, Rajahmundry.

At just 10 months old, he has already been through months of pain and uncertainty.

For the past few months, he has been suffering from severe, recurring fever. His family took him to multiple hospitals, desperately searching for answers. After several consultations and medical examinations, the doctors diagnosed him with Kawasaki Disease, a serious inflammatory condition that requires timely and continued treatment.

The treatment is financially overwhelming for the family. Each required dose costs approximately ₹22,000, and he still needs two more doses as part of his ongoing treatment. In addition to this, the family has already spent over ₹1.5 lakh on hospital visits, tests, medicines, and treatment. And we are aiming to raise 1 lakh funds for his continuous medication including hospitalization and other expenses.

His father is a daily-wage labourer, and the family comes from a financially disadvantaged background. With their limited income, arranging the remaining treatment expenses has become extremely difficult.

Today, we are reaching out with hope.

A 10-month-old child should not have to suffer because his family cannot afford the treatment he needs. Every contribution, no matter how small, can help this little boy continue his treatment and move towards recovery.
